Throughout history, the oak tree has been represented in different mythologies and sometimes linked to powerful gods (in Greek mythology it was a symbol of Zeus, the God of Thunder.) It is believed that Odysseus used to hear the voice of Zeus speaking to him through the rustling leaves.
